- Modular design allows efficient matching of resources to system requirements
- Concentrated processing power reduces chassis slot requirements and hardware costs
- Downloadable off the shelf software modules reduce development time and effort
- DSP real time OS runs multiple software modules on the same DSP, enhancing system performance and reducing cost
- H.110/SCSA bus allows access to backplane TDM bus, resulting in efficient TDM switching between system resources, simplifying ystem implementation
