Voiceboard Telephony Functions DSP Software

Voiceboard Telephony Functions (TF) software library is a set of downloadable modules for MediaPro embedded DSP resource board products. The TF library is used to support a broad range of telecom voice messaging, IVR and call processing applications.

The TF library includes detection and generation of a wide variety of telecom signaling tones, G.168-2000 echo canceller, voice record and playback, voice detection and G.711 vocoder.

The TF software library is a member of the MediaPro product line, a modular series of cPCI and VMEbus telecommunications boards and embedded software.

The TF DSP library provides the following functionality:

• DTMF, MFR1, MFR2 detection and generation
• Universal Call Progress detection and generation
• Play/Record of µ/a-Law PCM or G.711 packetized audio files
• G.168-2000 Echo Cancellation, 128 ms tail
• Voice activity detection and AGC
• Conversion between µ-Law/a-Law & linear PCM with gain control
• Caller ID, V.25 Answer Tone, V.21 CNG
• SS7 COT, SF Signaling and V.18 Text Telephone detection
• 3 party Conferencing
