This position involves development and testing of cPCI and VMEbus embedded hardware for telecommunication systems. Principal responsibilities involve design and test of circuit board assemblies for our industry leading MediaPro products. Take responsibility for developing and maintaining fully characterized and documented PCB assemblies and technical liaison with our contract manufacturing and test organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of circuit board assemblies for cPCI and VMEbus.
- Create product design and production documentation
- Support production engineering and testing of hardware products
- Support regulatory certification of hardware products.
- Contribute to and implement project plans.
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years experience in development or testing of communications hardware
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of communications technology.
- Strong background in technologies such as PowerPC and Power QUICC processor families; cPCI, Ethernet and T1/E1 networking devices.
- Knowledge of ORCAD and PADS PCB Common.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

This position involves application software development and integration of our industry leading MediaPro VoIP communication products with customized user GUI’s and networked communication servers. Principal responsibilities involve architecture, design and development of user GUI’s and web based applications and integration of H.323 and SIP gateways into our industry leading MediaPro products. In addition provide a cross platform, web based, provisioning system allowing any client to control and provision VoIP services on our server application using standard HTML protocols, including J2EE and J2SE. Take overall responsibility for producing and maintaining fully tested and documented software, user configuration Common and technical liaison with our user and industry standards organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integration and extension of H323 and SIP communications protocol software on Power PC.
- Understand protocols, functionality and application areas related to the assigned project.
- Participate in the design, implementation and testing of software products.
- Create product documents.
- Contribute to and implement project plans.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.

Take responsibility for providing application support via a suite of API’s implemented on our industry leading MediaPro embedded hardware and software communications products. Principal responsibilities include architecture, design, development and documentation of a range of communication applications resident on Linux, Solaris and real time OS platforms to interface effectively and efficiently to our products. Responsibilities further include software development and support of OS kernel level drivers for the cPCI and VME bus.
Provide a complete product solution including detailed example code, software reference manuals, customer training and demonstrations. Take responsibility for designing and maintaining fully tested and documented software, as well as maintaining the applications software version control system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture, design, development of Linux, Solaris and RTOS application software.
- Develop and support operating system kernel level drivers for the cPCI bus and VME bus.
- Participate in the design, implementation and testing of software products.
- Create product documents.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Technical liaison with Sun and Linux communities.
- Technical training and customer liaison.
- Develop and document example application code for supporting a wide variety of communications applications, including high availability software support.
- Architecture, design, development and documentation of application software to meet customer requirements for our MediaPro product family.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years experience with UNIX kernel operating systems I/O drivers, C++, C.
- Familiarity with a variety of operating systems, including Linux, VxWorks and Windows NT.
Skills:
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of multi-threaded real time programming in C, C++.
- Strong background in hardware/software integration, RTOS and kernel level drivers.
- Good technical and interpersonal skills coupled with strong customer service orientation.
